Product Safety & Care

Last updated: June 17, 2026

This page gives a simple overview of how to use and care for Attaky hardware safely. It is a general guide for Attaky products. If a product page, user manual, or Documentation page gives more specific instructions for your exact device or module, please follow the product-specific instructions first.

Product issue support

If your item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing parts, please contact us as soon as possible. The best way to reach us is to reply directly to your order confirmation email. You can also contact us through the chat box or the Contact Us form. Please always include your order number, and include photos or videos showing the issue whenever possible. We will review the case and help with the appropriate next step, which may include replacement parts, repair support, replacement, refund, or another solution depending on the situation.

Return and refund details are explained in our Shipping & Returns page. This page does not replace that policy; it is only a practical guide for safe use and product care.

Damage caused by misuse, liquid exposure, physical damage, improper installation, unauthorized modification, unsupported configuration, or use outside the product instructions may not be eligible for return or refund. Even if an issue is not covered, we will still try to help you troubleshoot or find a repair path where possible.

Battery care

Some Attaky products may include a rechargeable lithium battery or battery-powered module. Charge the product from a normal USB power source and use a suitable cable in good condition. Charge and store the device in a dry, stable, and ventilated place, away from extreme heat.

Do not puncture, crush, bend, open, burn, short-circuit, or physically damage the battery or battery module. If the battery looks swollen, damaged, leaking, unusually hot, or smells unusual, stop using the product and contact us. Do not continue charging or using a damaged battery.

Ceramic White Care

Ceramic White is our standard Attaky colorway and the most accessible build option. It has a clean, minimal look, but because it is a light-colored finish, everyday marks may show more visibly than on darker or mixed colorways.

To keep your Ceramic White device looking fresh:
- Handle with clean, dry hands when possible.
- Avoid long contact with dark dyed fabrics, denim, black pouches, ink, marker, grease, or oily surfaces.
- Store it in a soft pouch, clean drawer, or the included protective bag when not in use.
- Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth or a lightly damp microfiber cloth.
- Do not spray liquid directly onto the device.
- Avoid acetone, bleach, abrasive pads, harsh cleaners, or strong solvents.

Some light marks from normal handling may appear over time, especially on bright colorways. This is part of normal everyday use and does not affect the function of the device.

Marks caused by dye transfer, ink, heavy abrasion, harsh cleaners, or normal daily wear are considered cosmetic wear rather than a manufacturing defect.

Heat and sunlight

Use Attaky hardware in a normal indoor or outdoor operating environment unless the product documentation says otherwise. As a general guideline, use the device between 0°C and 40°C, or 32°F and 104°F.

Do not leave the device for long periods in hot places, such as a parked car, near a heater, on a dashboard, or in direct sunlight. Long exposure to heat, direct sunlight, or direct UV can damage plastics, electronics, batteries, displays, adhesives, and other components.

Water and moisture

Attaky hardware is not waterproof or water-resistant unless the product page or official documentation clearly says otherwise. Keep the product dry and away from rain, splashes, spills, condensation, wet bags, damp storage areas, and other sources of moisture.

Do not let water or liquid get inside the device, connectors, ports, battery area, modules, or exposed electronics. If the product gets wet, stop using it, disconnect power if it is safe to do so, and let it dry completely before contacting us. Liquid damage, corrosion, or moisture exposure may permanently damage the product and may affect return or warranty eligibility.

Antennas and radio use

Some Attaky products may include a radio module, removable antenna, telescopic antenna, or other antenna accessory. Use the antenna that is included with the product or a compatible antenna recommended in the product documentation.

Do not transmit without the correct antenna attached or extended as described in the user manual. Transmitting without a suitable antenna can reduce performance and may damage radio hardware.

For radio-enabled products, make sure your firmware region, frequency settings, antenna type, and hardware version match your location and the product documentation. Radio rules vary by country and region, and you are responsible for using radio features in a way that follows local requirements.

Firmware and software

Some Attaky products may use firmware, software, configuration files, or open-source components. Follow the official Documentation when installing, updating, or changing firmware.

Firmware updates, beta builds, community firmware, custom configurations, or unsupported changes may affect product behavior. Make sure the firmware you install is intended for your exact hardware version and region. Interrupting a firmware update, using the wrong firmware, or changing settings without checking the documentation may cause the product to stop working correctly.

Cleaning and handling

Clean Attaky hardware gently with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use water, alcohol, strong solvents, abrasive cleaners, or sprays unless the product documentation clearly says it is safe.

Handle connectors, ports, modules, antennas, and exposed electronics carefully. Avoid forcing parts together, bending connectors, pulling cables at sharp angles, or placing heavy objects on the product. If a part does not fit, stop and check the Documentation before applying more force.

Modifications and custom builds

Attaky products are designed to be modular and configurable, but unsupported modifications can create safety or reliability issues. Any teardown, repair attempt, third-party part, custom firmware, unsupported configuration, or experimental build is done at your own risk unless we clearly state otherwise in writing.

If you are unsure whether a part, antenna, firmware version, power source, or configuration is compatible, please check the Documentation or ask in the Community before using it.
